The month of Love ❤️

My creation this month uses a photo of me from my wedding day!

I have used a wooden heart found in an Op shop, some Doodle Bug papers, assorted ribbons, laces and yarns, assorted flowers and flat back pearls.

This project is securely made with;

Helmar Tacky Craft Glue

450 Quick Dry Adhesive

First step is to cover the project in white gesso.

While this was drying I cut up my paper into 2 1/2" strips and distressed the edges using my scissors.

Once the gesso was dry I then sprayed the gesso with assorted Lindy Sprays.

The next step is fun adding my distressed paper strips onto my project using my Helmar Adhesives.

I also added some foam strips where I will be mounting my photo compilation.

After all this was securely dry i trimmed back around the edge of the heart.

I then went on to add my fibres to the project tucking them in under the distressed edges.

Next step was to make my photo matting using assorted pieces of the paper and distressing all the edges.

I attached this to the centre of the heart.

Then went on to make my flowers.
