I love birdhouses.
So with a few items I have transformed this paper Mache bauble
into a faux little birdhouse to hang in my craft room.
So let's create:
The sweet image that features as a doorway is from a decorative sheet of rice paper.
First, I went around the image using a damp brush.
This allowed me to carefully tear around the image giving a soft edge as shown.
To glue the image onto the bauble I have used Tacky Craft Glue.
Now comes the fun part of gluing on all of the flowers.
To glue the flowers in place I used 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
Next I framed the image with a faux vine that I twisted into a circle shape
before gluing it in place using 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
To finish I glued on some velvet leaves, gold beaded berries and 3 small flowers.
A simple and quick little project to make.
