I was very lucky to receive the Epiphany Shape Studio Tool Square 25 along with the matching bubble caps and the Metal Square double charms 25.
Inspired by the latest Belle Armoire magazine I decided to make some earrings whilst doing the school disco runs last week hehe…. So inbetween my four runs to and from the school I was able to create two pairs of earrings and a card…. The Studio tool made things so easy!!! Unfortunately I did have photo's of the step by steps but have no idea where they got saved on my computer – they certainly aren't in the folder they should be so I do apologise. HOWEVER the studio tool is so easy to work that the earrings were done in next to no time!!
I simply coloured in some Graphic 45 Kraft Reflections paper with Faber Castell aquarelles before I placed the paper in the tool using the view finder area to line it up. Then I simply placed the bubble cap on top (TIP – be very careful not to touch the back of the bubble cap as you will leave fingerprints in the sticky back!) and then pressed the tool down on the table and voila….. I cut and bubblecapped 4 squares which then using my good old trusty Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue (hehe becuase I wanted to wear them when picking up my daughter from the disco 😉 !) glued them in with a dob on each side of the metal square double charms… Add a split ring and earring post and all done…. I actually made up 2 pairs as they were so quick and easy!
My model 🙂 I have had quite a few coments this week on the Jade coloured pair.
Then whilst on a square theme I decided to add to my card collection… I randomly cut 25 squares using the Studio tool out of 3 types of pattern paper (Bo Bunny – Love Shack Baby and Lilybee designs – Head over heels range). Covered my Twiddleybitz Chipboard banner with stickers and simply stuck down each square in rows using the Helmar tape runner.. The chipboard and flowers were then stuck down using Helmar's Premium Craft Glue.
Finally I placed the Epiphany bubblecaps randomly over some squares to give a wonderful texture to the card. Added a little sentiment and voila…
Can you see the gorgeous bubblecaps popping off the card!!!
I do hope that this weeks projects have inspired you to try something new – I have had heaps of fun playing with Epiphany's tools and products.. now to track some more down in Australia!!!!
Some great news too during the week – you can now order Helmar in the United States and Canada via this link and you Aussies via this link! I do know it can be hard to get hold of in some area's but problem is now solved!!
