a little handmade with the help of helmar…

Hi everyone – Leeann here – Today I am going to show you how I used the "Helmar Decoupage."

This is my youngest, baby Jorja and of course she just has to have all things cute on her pages!

I'm going to show you how I made this cute denim kite.

Here's the "Helmars Adhesives" I used to create this layout:

– helmar decoupage

– 450 quick dry

– zap dots

– helmar adhesive runner

….just a closer look at the kite!

Step 1: Cut a kite shape or any other shape you would like to use, out from assorted fabrics.

Step 2: Use your fingers and fray the edges.

Step 3: Now using the "Helmar Decouage"  paint the back of the shape/kite. Apply a couple of coats and allow to dry. This will stiffen you shape.

Step 4: Add extra detail to your shape by stitching, or stamp with paint etc.

Step 5: Now use a zapdot and place in the middle of shape/kite and adhere to layout.

…and here's those super important adhesives… without them my pages would fall apart!
