Today I wanted to share with you a challenge, which I set for myself. I wanted to make a monochromatic layout. A monochromatic layout consists of using any shade of one colour and I just added white. My bestie picked the color "yellow" and off I set on the task ahead.
It was a little harder than I thought and maybe it had something to do with the color yellow which I don't always use.
This is what I came up with:
The main reason why I had so much fun with this page was the fact that I got to use Helmar Decoupage and Craft Paste.
I tore up lots of strips of Yellow Tissue Paper and then painted the Helmar Decoupage and Craft Paste onto my white cardstock, then coating the paste on top of the tissue paper.
I made the twine circle by cutting out a circle of cardstock. I used the Helmar Premium Craft Glue to cover the circle and starting from the middle, I started to lay the twine down, in a circle shape, until I got to the end of the cardstock. I then glued on a button.
So happy with the finished product. I find it motivational to give myself a challenge occasionally, just to get the mojo happening.
