I was so excited to be able to play with Darkroom Door stamps this month! I have a friend I had not talked to in a long time and knew the set I was sent would be perfect for a card for her!
This set is full of beautiful sewing notions, called "Dressmaker". This set may seem to only lend itself to vintage projects, but since that is NOT my style I knew I needed to think outside the box and I know this set was not sent to me by mistake. When I first started creating, I was so excited because I knew I had the perfect papers and cards, one of which being a dress pattern sewing card from Studio Calico. I instantly started layering with Helmar Premium Craft Glue and stitching here and stitching there….
and here is a close up of the pennents I cut for the top… one with one of those cute little stamps! I cannot believe the quality of these stamps! And with Helmar Adhesive they were the perfect fit for this perfect little card.
