This summer I went on a photography trek. I took about 5,000 photos with little time to scrapbook them all. In an effort to keep the memories alive and my brochures and memorabilia together, I created this portfolio of the trip. I used Helmar Acid Free Glue to adhere pattern papers purchased while on this trip to a Kraft colored portfolio. On the inside flap, I placed a few photos from the trip using Helmar Quick-Fix Adhesive Runner. Then I used the Helmar Quick-Fix Adhesive Runner to create this tag album. In my own handwriting, I jotted down dates and names of individuals that went on the trip. Hey, I don’t want to forget all the details and events of this trip. I burned CDs of all the photos and placed everything in this portfolio as well. Now, everything is in order. If I want to make an album of this trip, I am organzied and ready to go!
I love the idea and how quickly this project came together. Now, with that thought and project in mind. Think of how easy it would be to apply this project to other themes such as a Christmas Portfolio filled with cards and letters you receive over the holidays. I want to create keepsakes for all the special times and memories.
