Adhesives do more than just stick one thing to another. They can also be used as art tools and embellishments! Let's grab some of our favorite Helmar adhesives along with just a few decorative items and create some whimsical ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) like these:
You won't need much to get started. Below you will find lists of the adhesives and embellishments I used. Feel free to experiment with different embellishments and shiny things you already have on hand.
HELMAR SUPPLIES USED:
Crystal Kote Gloss Spray Varnish
Zapdots in 1/4" white round, 1/4" black round, 1/2" clear round, 1/2" clear square
OTHER SUPPLIES USED:
Hand painted cardstock cut to ATC size (2.5" x 3.5")
DecoArt Crafter's Acrylic paint in Black and White
Studio G glitter glue in a lime green and turquoise color
Unknown brands of pink glitter, gold foil, gold and black extra fine graphic tape, and scraps of various metallic leafing
Not pictured: a few scraps of foam core board and some paint pens
