Ballerina Tag – Helmar/ Faber-Castell Week

Carolyn+Post+headerHi there! It's Carolyn here! Hope you are enjoying Faber-Castell week on the Helmar blog!  Today I have a tag to share that I designed using Faber-Castell and Helmar products.

I covered a tag with pink paper that I altered using a French Script background stamp that I inked with the Faber Castell PITT artist big brush pen (pink madder lake).  This is an india ink water proof ink and looks fabulous when applied to a stamped image.  I inked the edges with some pink color gelato and blended it in with my finger.

I cut out the ballerina image using my Silhouette.  I cut off her skirt so I could add my own.  I inked up a piece of lace with my Faber-Castell PITT artist pen big brush in light cobalt turqoise.  It worked perfectly to give the skirt a blast of beautiful blue.

I adhered the ballerina to the tag with Helmar Zapdots and Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to give her some dimension.

I added the flowers along the bottom of the tag with Helmar 450 Quick Dry.

Here is the tag:
