Hey There,
Being totally surrounded by men I find myself scrapping away at boys pages. Occasionally, I get to be a girl and do a girly page.
This page is so very special to me for two reasons. Firstly, my gorgeous nanna, Vera, passed away before Christmas. She is such an inspirational lady. Secondly, my bestie bought me a paper stack of beautiful butterflies and wanted to see what I could do with it. I love a challenge!!
So, I love the Tim Holtz Mini Paper Rosette Die Cut. It called for a strong adhesive. Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to the rescue!!!
I misted the background with another favourite of mine. Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist – Dragonfly. It is such a vibrant colour.
I cut around the butterflies with a craft knife to make their wings pop up off the page. Oh my butterfly heaven. Isn't it so satisfying when you imagine a page and it turns out exactly the way you wanted it to.
I love everything about this page, my nanna, the butterflies, Helmar, Mini Paper Rosettes, Dragonfly Glimmermist, Unity Stamps and Prima goodness. These are just a few of my favourite things!!
