Here we are on the 3rd of September and what do I want to play with…..pink, lime green, and turquoise. I know, it should be Fall colors of beautiful rich leaves and golden sunsets. But, that is not what calls to me at the moment, so buttons and bright colors, it is.

I decided to try a little twist on my regular button use and went with a stamped version design. Stamping on buttons is very easy and alot of fun. I always find that it adds a pretty textured look, in a quick and easy fashion.
Process:
1)Gather individual patterned Stamps.
2)Stamp on button top and let dry.
3) Add random lacing through buttons.
4) When adding to layout, add Helmar's Liquid Scrapdots or Helmar's Clear Liquid Adhesive.
The lift of the button and ribbons is using Helmar's Liquid Scrapdots.
The fluffy ribbon is actually stiff, being solidified in Fabric Stiffner & Draping Liquid.
(Just run the ribbon through the stiffner and let dry. )
This is my little niece Katie, from a few summers ago. I really thought the pretty new Dreamstreet papers would highlight the fresh look of summer and her pretty eyes and little lips.
