Cindy here, sharing a couple of shaped cards created with my electronic die cutting machine and software along with Helmar products and Want 2 Scrap products.
You can take just about any simple image you want and create a shaped card with it. I typically will cut 2 of the same image shape, score down about 3/4” from the top on the back image, fold and adhere it to the front image with Helmar 450 Quick Dry or Helmar Premium Craft Glue in that top 3/4”. Either glue will hold your card securely through many openings.
For my first card I created my card shape of an acorn with leaves. Die cuts with layers are assembled with Helmar Acid Free Glue and then adhered to the card using either Helmar Zap Dots or Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots. I use the Zap Dots for uniform depth of the image and Liquid Scrap Dots when I shape the die cuts and have varying depths. Card is completed with really fun Want 2 Scrap gems and half pearls.
My second card is of the same idea. The shape this time being a nurses hat. Same procedure. Assemble flat die cuts with Helmar Acid Free Glue and then using Liquid Scrap Dots and Zap Dots for dimension and depth.
