Hello all!! Happy Belated Valentines day!!! I hope you had a wonderful time with those you love!! My household has been sick… lots of sickness… so Valentines day was kind of quiet here… i feel asleep on the couch at 8:30pm! LOL! THAT is love!! 🙂
So, due to all the sickness here, I haven't had a lot of creativity flowing thru my veins this week. So, I'd like to share with you a layout I did a couple of weeks ago.
For this layout, I used some chipboard from Magistical Memories. The film strip is the chipboard! I LOOOVE this piece if chipboard! I think it's my new favorite! 🙂
The papers used on here are an old Valentine line by my Little Yellow Bicycle. I added some Pink Paislee hounds tooth from their 6×6 paper pack. These are fabulous!! I matted my chipboard film strip on this.
When adhering the chipboard to the paper, I used the Helmar 450 Quick Dry. It holds fast and strong! The little "xo" chipboard pieces are held down using some Liquid Scrap Dots… that way the overlapping "X" is held up.
i had a ton of fun creating this pleated heart on here! I stitched it for effect and texture, but before i rah it thru my sewing machine, I held it in place using the 450 quick dry. This held so well that I did not need to use my machine… but i did just for the look! 🙂
