Hi all Vicki-Ann here and I have made a Christmas card out of some pretty double sided Kaisercraft 12 x 12 paper.
What you will need for this project.
- Helmar Premium Craft Glue
- Creen card stock
- Double sided Kaisercraft decorative paper
- White card stock
- Merry Christmas stamp
- Green ink
- Oval or shape of your choice punch
I loved this green paper with its lovely words on one side and the pine tree theme on the other. I thought this was a great way to show both sides. You can really make this to any size card you require.
So to start I grabbed some green card stock and cut it into 2 one smaller than the other. Then I scored and folded it in half. The bigger of the the 2 I cut the right half part of the card off. Working of this part I opened to what is now going to be the inside of your card and cut the card stock for the larger half with one side of the paper and smaller half with the other side of the paper.
I then grabbed the Helmar Premium Craft Glue and glued these on the the inside of my green card.
I then cut some more of the pine side of the paper and covered the front of the smaller right half of the green card stock.
So this part is now done.
Now grab the other smaller piece of green card stock and open it and using the Helmar Premium Craft Glue you cover the inside right hand side with some white card stock. I stamped Merry Christmas on this using some green ink.
I also stamped Merry Christmas and cut it out with my punch to use on my cover. Using a scrap piece of green card stock, punch out another one of your shape so you can back your Merry Christmas. I just cut this in half add some of the Helmar Premium Craft Glue and pop it on so you now have a green border around your Merry Christmas.
I cut more of the paper, this time the word side and covered the front of this card. Then using the Helmar premium craft glue I attached this to my cover and then added my Merry Christmas element. Then for the final part all you have to do is add some Helmar Premium Craft Glue to the back of the smaller card and attach to the centre of the bigger card.
I think this is such a simple idea. Once you make one you will be hooked. I really like the way it folds out. You can make it any size you like, it is a fabulous way to use up some lovely double sided papers, so you get to show both sides.
Tip… Make sure you score both cards so they will sit flat.
