Meet Helmar’s 2013 Design Team. Our Design Team is comprised of an amazing group of talent collected from the US, Canada, and Australia.
Rebecca Beattie
Although my name is Rebecca most know me simply as Beck. I am
married to a wonderful husband that is very supportive of my craft and we have
two beautiful boys aged 2 and 3.5 years old that keep me on my toes.
My scrapbooking love includes layouts to off the page projects,
and cards as well. At the moment though, I would say that I am really
enjoying creating layouts and the stories behind them. Having boys after
developing quite a feminine style really challenged my style, and it is
something I thoroughly love. Whilst I still have a bit of a vintage and
sometimes Shabby Chic style (whenever there is a female in the photo), I also
have quite a detailed and slightly grungy style mainly tailored to my male layouts.
I just LOVE to add layer upon layer and add in many different elements into my
projects and having the pleasure of working with Helmar products makes this all
the more achievable. I enjoy the challenge of trying different styles and
techniques, whilst always tailoring a layout to suit the subject or photo I am
Scrapbooking.
I have been fortunate to work on a number of different design
teams as well as behind the scenes with some of the leading brands as
well. My biggest achievement would have to be being named Scrapbooking
Memories Master this year along with 9 other very talented ladies. It has
always been so wonderful to meet new people as well, and this has definitely
opened the doors to many great friendships all over Australia and the world.
I now couldn’t imagine my life without this craft in it.

DeeDee Catron
I’m DeeDee Catron – a 25 year old mama and wife. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Industrial Design, I am the Marketing and Artistic Director for Viva Las
VegaStamps! and the Owner/Creative Director of UmWowStudio. By day I
design stamps and by night chipboard, in between I create artwork and
memories of, about and with my small beautiful family.

Jenn Cochran
Hello, my name is Jenn Cochran. I am a cardmarker, scrapbooker and mixed media artist. I have a
degree in Culinary arts. My focus has turned from food to paper in the
past 6 years but I have been paper crafting since my youth. I own Party
Time Tuesdays Challenge blog and author Jax Bean Stalks, my personal
blog. I also own Jax Bean Stalks Custom Greeting Cards in Western
Colorado where my elementary aged son Bean and I live. We have a black
lab, Buck. We like to spend a lot of time with him outdoors.
I
am currently a design team member for SP and Company Stamps, Stampotique
Originals, Color Me Creative, and Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. I am
excited to be a part of Helmar design team and am looking forward to
creating fun and fresh projects to inspire all of Helmar’s friends and
followers!

Kiki Halbert
Toasted, Roasted and Ready to Serve
My
name is Kelly-Ann Halbert, but my friends call me Kiki. I’m a mixed
media artist, scrapbooker and art journalist who works full
time out of my home. I’m married to a wonderful man who’s also my best
friend, and we have one dog and two cats here in Ottawa, Ontario. I’ve
been scrapbooking with paper for a little over a year now, and started
off my creative journey with digital scrapbooking in 2005. I followed
my creative muse down a path to art journaling a little over 2 years
ago. I absolutely love working in art journaling and scrapbooking. I
have done some altered books, mini albums, and have dabbled with altered
projects for my craft room. I’m a design team member for a local
scrapbook store, and for Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. This year I
was published in Art Journaling by Somerset Studios in the Winter 2013
edition. I’m thrilled to be joining the Helmar team!

Cindy Porter
Creative People don’t play by the Rules
Cindy Porter here, and I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband Bill and we live in Melbourne, Victoria with our
two furbabys, Tigerlily our 12 ½ year old Alaskan Malamute and Cleopatra (Cleo)
our newest addition a 6 month old Russian Blue kitten.
I have been paper crafting for over 19 years and in that time have had the privilege
of becoming a Fully Certified Ranger Educator, Copic Certified Instructor, and
published designer. I am passionate about scrapbooking and paper crafting and
love nothing more than to teach and share my technique and product knowledge. In my spare time I love to ride my Harley Davidson, there is nothing that
compares to that feeling of freedom. I
am honoured to be chosen as part of the Helmar Design Team.

I am Lydell and I have been scrapbooking and papercrafting for over 10 years now. I am a mum of three little people (10, 8 and 9 months,) who are very present in my scrapbooking. I enjoy the freedom of creating with Art journaling and mixed media and do a bit of digital designing and scrapbooking as well. I am blessed with being on some of my favourite products Design Teams, with Helmar and Shimmerz Paints, I co own and run The Color Room and recently joined the Scrap for Help Challenge Blog team. I recently got back into teaching scrapbooking after a few years off and am enjoying sharing my skills and ideas with others. I have been lucky enough to Design for Helmar for a couple of years now and am a Helmar girl through and through. I will be providing you with a challenge every month to kick start your creativity and help you get your Helmar happening, so be sure to join the girls in the fun.

Martha Richardson
My name is Martha Richardson and I live in Elizabeth City, NC with my husband. I consider myself a jack
of all arts…mixed-media, altered art, art journaling, doodling, zentangle,
lettering, scrapbooking, fabric arts, jewelry making, just to name a few. I’m a
technique junkie and love learning about new techniques and new products. I’m also
a techie who loves using all the various social media platforms. My biggest
problem is NOT having enough time to do it all!
