Dream

I am Sharon Estes, today my blog is about the Dream Canvas I have altered.

We all have dreams and goals in our life, well my Dream has come true and that is to be a Designer of Art, work for a great company and Helmar Glue. I have started with triple 3×6 canvas to be altered and added to my steampunk collection of art. I have only one finished but the other 2 are ready to finish.

Thanks to the great Helmar Glue I used this project was fun and easy to assemble all my tiny metal pieces.

The steps used to decorate and apply the Chipboard and metal items to my 3×6" canvas are:

I used my Tim Holtz stencil and some Mixed Medium Crackle Paste by DecoArt, and the great red glue spreader to apply the paste. I used the Helmar Super-Tac Glue for all my small metal pieces and the chipboard onto the canvas.

To give it some dimension I used the Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots Glue.

I then used more Gesso to cover all of the canvas and when it dried I used some sprays and other metalic Luster paste to my finished pieces until it pleased me.
