Hi Veronica here today to share with you an artsy whimsical fold out album for Easter. This is a fun and easy project to make from scratch. All you need is some chipboard, paint, and water color paper.
For this project I used Helmar's Fabric Glue, it sticks great to canvas and chipboard and perfect to wrap my covers.
First step is to glue your cut canvas which should have a one inch border around the chipboard so you can fold it over.
Using a bone folder, make sure that when you fold in your canvas its nice and straight.
Next I painted my canvas cover with blue and covered it with clear buttons. The Helmar Fabric glue worked great for this too.
To make my cover more whimsical I added gesso, alcohol ink and paint to some of the buttons to brighten them up.
