Good Monday morning! I hope everyone here in the US had a wonderful time celebrating the anniversary of the birth of our nation yesterday! I spent the day visiting with my extended family. I'm sad that I don't live closer or get to see them as often as I'd like. Most of my family members were meeting my little guy, featured in this layout, for the very first time!
To create this layout, I used preferred products from Lily Bee, Buzz and Bloom, Purple Cows, PK Glitz, and Clearsnaps. Everything came together nicely with the help of Helmar Adhesives! I used, Gemstone Glue, Premium Craft Glue, and Quick Fix Adhesive Runner.
I am loving the Gemstone Glue because it works wonderfully with glitter as well as gemstones!
I liberally coated the Buzz & Bloom chipboard shapes and alpha with gemstone glue and then coated with PK Glitz glitter.
I tapped off the excess glitter, allowed to dry and then attached to my layout.
In the close-up, you can see just how glittery those letters look. I used purple cows 2-in-1 trimmer and a designer click blade to add a subtle border to the striped strip.
