I am a subtle celebrator of all things St. Patricks Day.
I don't dye my hair green,or wear a leprechaun costume, but buttons, pins, and jewelry are a great and artful way to dress up an outfit to celebrate all things Irish.
My entire outfit consists of my green John Lenon sunglasses and a kiss me badge…I'm set to go!
I love die cutting machines because they do most of the work for you, all you need to do is assemble the pieces. I adhered all of mine with Helmar's Acid Free Glue.
To add the very tiny letters I squeezed some of Helmar's Acid Free Glue onto a plastic tray and applied the glue with a paint brush. You can use the paint brush to pick up those tiny bits and bobs and place them easy peasy onto your project. Just make sure to rinse your brush out with some warm soapy water after using it.
I also added some glass baubles to the side of the badge to fancy it up but it needs something else, doesn't it?
So I got out my Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and squeezed some into the space where the shamrock was cut out and added some velvet glitter over that.
The last thing to do was to add a fastener to the back so I can pin my badge to my shirt and off I go to party!
(You can buy these at any office supply store )
May your day be touched
by a bit of Irish luck,
brightened by a song in your heart,
and warmed by the smiles
of the people you love.
