Halloween Banner – Lydia

Hi Helmar friends, Lydia back to share a little halloween décor with you all. I for one don't decorate for Halloween, but I thought it would be fun to create a small banner for this fun time of year.

What you will need for this project is:

  • Helmar Scrap Dots
  • Helmar Craft & Hobby Glue
  • Banner
  • Scrap pieces of scapbooking paper
  • Embellishments
  • Twine

Now for my banner I used a pre cut American Crafts banner from their DIY Collection. You can always download a template too.

First thing I did was get 5 banner flags and start cutting strips of scrap scrapbooking paper. I even did some fringing on some of the strips to give the banner flags some texture. While I did that, I added some paper doilies as well as some other embellishments.

And once I had all my paper and embellishments placed I used Helmar Craft & Hobby Glue to adhere most of my elements onto the banner.

As well as using Helmar Scrap dots to give some elements some dimension.

And once all elements were adhered I finished the banner flags with some rhinestones and some ink splatters and hung them some twine.

So here is the final creation with some close up photos too.

I hope you all enjoyed this little Halloween creation I did. I am happy with how it turned out as my first Halloween project.

I will be back very soon with another project.
