Happy Birthday to ME, Happy Birthday to ME!! Happy Birthday to anyone who has a birthday in the month of June, because that is how long I will celebrate (say all of that super fast with no breathing breaks) ! ::laughs:: Happy Birthday to YOU toooooo!! I wasn't quite sure what I would post for today, when I saw I got June 3. By the time this posts I will have already begun celebrating by doing what I love.. with those I love. ::smiles:: Which indeed includes more artsy crafting time!! Here is what I call a cute and simple card.
I began by putting my Craft & Hobby PVA glue on the back of the layers or paper. PVA glue is rather fluid so you can quickly spread it with your finger, so you can position it on card base right, the first time. I did that for 2 layers of card stock.
I have a chipboard Birthday Set from Gina's Designs that I had fun coloring with my Design Memory Craft Gelatos and Artist Big Brush Pitt Pens. I took my Helmar Tacky Craft Glue and used it to adhere the layers of chipboard. Gina's Designs has some of coolest pieces to embellish your paper crafts without weighing them down. The combination of Gina's Designs & Helmar Adhesive is perfect to achieve the look you want for all your layouts and mixed media projects.
Now any of the previous glues would work fine on the next step, but I am a bit of a glue snob and I chose to use my Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere my chipboard pieces to the actual card. I love to know that my embellishments are SUPER SECURE and that they won't fall off in handling. Helmar 450 gives me that security!! ::smiles::
