Hello Helmar Fans… Today I am going to share with you a page I had published! Plus how to create your own background stamp from leftover chipboard letters and also crate paper rosettes…YAY!
I was extra excited to see how they published this page of mine in the "Australian Scrapbooking Memories Magazine" vol 13 – 4, In the hot techniques to try section – gotta love making those paper spiral flowers – with a little help from "Helamrs 450 quick dry"!!!
A little something extra I did with those flowers too, was once I made them and had secured them with my "Helmars 450 quick dry" I dipped them into wet paint like dipping an ice cream into yummy chocolate…
How to make a background stamp using leftover odd chipboard letters and "helmars decoupage"
Step 1: Gather all your odd leftover pieces of chipboard letters and shapes.
Step 2: Use "helmars decoupage" and paint an entire sheet of cardstock.
Step 3: Now randomly place all your chipboard letters and shapes down. Apply more decoupage if it starts to dry on you.
Step 4: Allow to dry
Step 5: Choose a paint colour and paint the entire background. Be generous with the paint.
Step 6: Now flip it over and press it onto another sheet of cardstock. Rub all over the back a couple of times. Peel away and allow to dry.
LOOKIE DOWN the end scrapped result – so what do you think – cool I hope…:)
"click" – my 3 beauties!!!
I Love crate paper it's not just for the kids parties …its for our scrappy pages too.
Check out how I made these and give it ago!

How to make a crate paper rosette by Leeann Pearce using "Helmars 450 quick dry"
Step1: Cut a 1.5inch strip from some crate paper. Use a 1 3/8 inch circle punch and punch circle out from scraps.
Step2: Unroll and tie a knot at one end.
Step 3: Start wrapping and twisting the crate paper around the knot.
Step 4: Once you get close to the end use a little "helmars 450 quick dry" to hold the end in place.
Step 5: Now take a look at both sides of the rosette. Adhere the punched circle to the bum that has the deepest hole.
Step 6: Now just embellish it.
NOTE: If you want a more shabby feel unravel the crate paper and scrunch and then adhere with your 450 quick dry.
Thanks and I hope you have lots of scrappy things to make this week with the help of some Helmar adhesives!
