Hi everyone! Becky Teichmiller here feeling like a Princess using Helmar Adhesives! I already have the smile, just need that tiara – lol! Here's the LO I created in a UStream Video, you can view the video here.
It's a pretty simple LO, but I used 6 different adhesives! For all of the paper to paper, I used the Quick Fix Adhesive Runner. I used the Craft Glue to adhere the flowers. In the center of the lower flower I used the Gemstone Glue for the large Princess cut gem. In the other flower centers I used the Liquid Scrap Dots, just a teeny bit, to hold those pearls in place. I used the 450 Quick Dry, since it dried so fast, to adhere the ruffled ribbon under the picture. I really need a glue that dried quickly or I would have been holding that lace down forever!!! And I used Zapdots on the picture and the title. If you saw the video, I DID adhere it with the Quick Fix Adhesive Runner, but I decided to add the ruffled lace. Very carefully, I ripped the picture off the background. But knowing that I was going to be covering that area with the picture, it didn't really matter the the paper ripped.
The "happy" was actually part of the background paper that I cut out, double matted and popped up using Zapdots!
Here you can see a bit of the Liquid Scrap Dots, but you can't see it from straight on 🙂
Other supplies: Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye papers; Prima flowers, lace, alphas and gem; and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in a variety of colors to color the lace and flowers. All products besides the Glimmer Mist and pearls were in the Sealed With A Kiss Kit!
I'm still looking for that tiara…. Oh well, even if you don't have a tiara, creating with Helmar Adhesives will make you happy because they have an adhesive for just about anything that you need to glue!
