How many of you have ever wanted to try your hand at creating your own little book using glue to bind the book? Over the past year I have been fortunate enough to design for Helmar USA and demonstrating to you all the use of all the products with the exception of one….The Helmar Professional Acid Free Glue. So I thought I'd give it a try and here is what I came up with…
Did you know that you can that you can use the Helmar Professional Acid Free glue to bind a book? This week I have been experimenting with all different sizes but I thought that I would demonstrate for you on a 3×3 album that I will decorate at a later date.
I first started out with cutting my card stock.
I cut a piece of Canvas Corp. Burlap to fit on a 3×2 piece of patterned paper which will be the bind of my book.
I then secured the book using my Canvas Corp. cloths pins.
I have created other books where I have sewn in the pages to secure them in the book but trust me when I tell you this, I am sitting here tugging on these pages trying to pull them out and there not going anywhere! I'm really excited about that!
