Hi Veronica here today to share with you some Home Décor. I chose to make this cute frame because its not your typical photo frame.
I also wanted to highlight the versatility of the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. It dries great on wood!
Making a Home Décor project does not have to be a big production, just gather up scraps of paper and embellishments you have in your stash. We as crafter's, all have a stash and for me it gives me great pleasure to be able to use some of it up!
When creating its great fun to use other mediums other than paper.
I get these cute wood pieces from Michaels Craft Store especially when they are on sale.
I decided to add a little bling to my frame décor so I used the Helmar Tacky Craft Glue to cover my wood butterfly. I love using this because you can lay it on thick and it dries clear.
Also it's great to adhere glitter to any piece.
My next piece I wanted to paint a bright yellow. So I got out my box of acrylic paints and painted this pretty wood flower
Next I cut some of my stash of paper for a lovely matt for a photo.
The 450 Quick Dry was perfect for this task. Quick dry and no mess!
Next I found some cute chipboard embellishments (again in my stash) and decided to add that to my frame. To ensure that my embellishments would stay on my paper I added some extra Quick Dry
To finish my frame I added some ribbon and a couple of stars and hearts on my banner. I decided at the last minute to add a couple of buttons on my wood flower because I wanted to give it a little more interest. This frame is going to a special friend. All in all this was a fun and easy project and it will make a great gift!
