Hi there!
I have some flower How To's for you today. Using Helmar 450 Quickdry. I chose this glue due to the "Quick Dry' element of the 450. (Although any of Helmar paper glues will work for these flowers, they may just need to be held in place for a little longer.)
OK….lets get started!
FLOWER VERSION 1
1. Punch some circles using a circle punch (I used a 1 inch punch) use double sided paper and ink if desired.
2. Fold the edges in on two sides. Cut out another circle to build your flower onto.
3 & 4. Make a tiny loop at the end of a piece of wire and add a dab of 450 Quick dry. Thread it through the centre of your foundation circle…..Start building your flower by adding 450 Quickdry onto the tips and laying the folded circles side by side.
5 & 6. Continue gluing the circles on until you complete the flower.
add a button centre and call it cute!
Some others……
This one uses a combination of punched and mulberry paper flowers, and some paper leaves.
This one is using some punched and some handcut then inked flowers.
See below for the how to's for both these flowers……
1-3 will make the buds.
Using a piece of wire bend the end into a tight loop like before…..then add a dab of 450 Quickdry. Poke a hole in the centre of each flower and one by one thread the flowers onto the wire with the occaisional dab of glue to hold secure. (Use about 3 small ones.) Pinch the flowers to form the bud.
VERSION 2
Stamp some paper and colour it with inks…….
Then punch the paper and cut out some larger hand cut flower shapes to be the outer petals.
I adhered all these to the top of a box lid.
Makes a very sweet gift box.
