Coloring Eggs is a favorite activity around our house, in fact my kids would give up Chocolate rather then give up the egg coloring (if you can believe that!).
I wanted to make a layout using the Karen Foster Easter paper, but I didn't have any letter or stickers in the right color. So, I got out my chipboard and painted it – but it looked kind of "blah"….then I grabbed my Helmar Acrylic Sealer and WOW, does that stuff add some shine!
Not only does it shine, but it also dries really quickly – and without brush strokes, which is key if you're trying to get a "glassy" look.
I did another fun thing on this layout, this time using my "go to" product, the Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive . I used some fun metal photo corners by Karen Foster, and I decided to jazz them up a little by spraying them with the V2 and the covering them with some Stampendous Glitter.
And because I'm a frugal scrapper and try to make my products go as far as possible, I made this quick and easy card from the left over Karen Foster paper. I added a cardstock sticker using some Helmar Liquid Scrapdots and…
That's a 2 minute card, no kidding. Scrap dots can turn the simplest thing into something really great.
