Hello All! I hope everyone had a safe and fun filled Halloween weekend!! I know we did… and I'm thoroughly enjoying all of the junk food around the house! 🙂
I have to share something with you about our weekend. How HELMAR saved the day!!
Here is my beautiful daughter… can you tell who she was dressed up as?
Yep!! If you said DOROTHY from THE WIZARD OF OZ then you are correct! But WHAT, I ask you, would Dorothy be without her ruby shoes? Well, she just wouldn't be Dorothy!! And do you think I could find a pair of red shoes ANYWHERE to fit her? NOWHERE!!! So, I figured I was going to have to come up with something fabulous on my own!! So, I bought a pair of midnight blue shoes from a second hand store for $3.99. I then applied a generous layer of Helmar GEMSTONE glue with a paintbrush, being careful not to get any on the sole of the shoe. Then, I dug out my PK Glitz red glitter! And well, you know what happens next! VOILA! My little Dorothy had her ruby shoes! 
They were far from perfect but that is due to having 5 kids to get ready and leaving the shoes until the last minute! 🙂 But she was the belle of the ball so to speak, and came home with the prize for best girl costume! 🙂 It was a proud moment for mama… and Helmar!
And on a side note, Helmar's 450 Quick dry helped to get the cardstock "buttons" in place on this fancy little snowman! 🙂 Another first place finish for Mama and Helmar! 🙂
