It has been so much fun spending some time this month as a Helmar Guest Designer and creating some fun projects and seeing everyone elses AWESOME work and comments! What a fun group of creative people!
This week I had fun glueing together a little box to give to a friend as a house warming gift.First I used acrylic sealer to put some lovely paper from Fancy Pants onto the box.
I wanted to get a nice aged look from the Distressed Ink from Ranger that I was using so I first used sand paper and rough up the edges.That way the ink got to the sanded edges but not to where the sealer was.
See how the ink can now get nicely to the paper but the acrylic sealer protects the rest of the paper.
I then used Helmars Premium Craft Glue to stick on the rest of my paper embellishments. For the fancy metal embellishment from Prima Marketing Inc I used the handy dandy 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
Gotta luv getting getting sticky and creative!
