Hi Helmar Fans!
We've gotten snow here in Colorado so my project is fitting for today — although I much preferred the temps earlier in the week that were in the 70's!!! I do hope they return quickly. 😀 I am soooo excited to share my project today. I have a love for Helmar Acid Free Glue like no other. It spreads easily, sets quickly and dries completely CLEAR! Perfect for adhereing pretty paper to anything. Like this:
I picked up this cute little wooden bag at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago – it was ON SALE for less than $.50!! I knew it would be super cute for a giftcard and I got to work right away altering it for just that. I love my October Afternoon papers so I dug that out and then got to work on this shappy chic Christmas theme. I added some lace, ribbon and prima flowers which were all adhered using Helmar 450 Quick Dry – my GO-TO glue for pretty much every project! :D Using my Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots I attached the little snowman to give them a bit more height. I *almost* can't wait for Chrstimas-time so I can give this pretty box away.
