Today's post is a cute little tag I have created
Life's A HOOT!
The craft supplies you will need if you want to create a similar project would be:
a tag I used chipboard
black staz on ink pad
water paints and a paintbrush
acrylic paints
crackle glaze
a stamp you would like to create with
assorted flowers
some fibres to use for grass I used hessian and moss

I started by painting the tag with a base coat of cream acrylic paint, dried this off then applied a coat of crackle medium.
I allowed this to dry and then lightly brushed the second colour of acrylic paint over the top.
Next up I stamped my owl image 3 times so I could individually colour certain parts and then dimensionally assemble it back together using Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots.
Before I cut out my peices I have sprayed the water coloured images with the Crystal Kote Fixative Spray which will stop my water coloured images from running if wet again.
I have cut out my different parts of the coloured image and have used Scrap Dots to assemble the pieces back together.
I apply my Scrap dots with a skewer this makes it easier to get the Scrap dots onto the finer pieces.
I have also coloured and cut out some foliage leaves green.
They needed a background colour and because I had previously sealed the painted images with the fixative spray I was able to water colour over the top in a new colour.
I have finished off my tag by gluing everything in place with the premium craft glue
attaching some green hessian as a ground under my owl image and some moss over this and
finished off with some flowers and the words HOOT on top of the tag.
