Liquid Scrap Dots Will Brighten Any Day!!

I love that spring is just about here!! With spring almost here, I can start thinking about SUMMER!! 🙂 Looking forward to brighter days!!

Today I have a summertime project to share with you! This layout was created for Helmar back before Christmas… I didn't get it uploaded and ended up submitting it to the Spellbinders Design Team Call round 1! Then I could not share it until the contest was over! But guess what? I made the Spellbinders team! Whoot!!

That was off topic 😉 … but it's the story behind the page anyway! 🙂 So, here is the layout I created for you… just posted a few months late! 🙂

Summertime Play

In creating this page, I had so much fun with my Helmar Liquid Scrap dots! I know those spiral flowers are all over the place now… but i can't even imagine creating them without my scrap dots!! Seriously! I plop a big gob of it on the bottom of my spiral and it holds everything… all the layers! AND it is perfect for adding the center pearl or jewel to as well! Then I add it to my page using the scrap dots as well! The leaves are held in place with… you guessed it! Liquid Scrap Dots! See those adorable wire stemmed hearts? I jabbed those under the flowers into the… liquid scrap dots! They will never move!

I also used some of this fabulous stuff on my butterfly! I LOVE that when I put this page in an album, the butterfly will not flatten out! i have it held in place, curved and in motion using my Liquid scrap dots!! I also sprayed this butterfly with some Clear Snaps smooch… Love the shine it gave to it! (sorry it isn't showing up better in the photo…) And what butterfly doesn't shimmer in the sunshine!?!?
