Hi ya – it's me Rae signing in from a very hot & humid Darwin. I have two creations to share with you today first up……………….
'Who would have thought Liquid Scrapdots would make for such great texture'.
I had been thinking of this for awhile and thought you wont no till you have a go so I got into it and made this little tag - I used Liquid Scrapdots to add some texture you can find it HERE.
I started out with a plain tag grabbed some Liquid Scrapdots
squeezed a generous amount onto the tag and then swiped an old credit
card over it making sure to cover the entire tag. Then stamped away and
the Liquid Scrapdots rose to the occasion. I let it dry overnight and then coated it with gesso and some ink sprays……………………..
pretty cool huh? It looks a little like icing on a cake 🙂
team the tag up with some chippy scrolls & a resin flower and ……
some fussy cut butterflies using Liquid Scrapdots under each wing and watch your butterflies fly, fly away!!
Liquid Scrapdots is a huge fav of mine and my opinion it should belong in everyone's basic tool kit you can find it HERE and I promise you, YOU wont be disappointed 🙂
Second up today is a Finnabair inspired LO – i'm not much of a LO girl but every now and then I give it a whirl………… This is my Girl – Shani
I used two adhesives on this entire LO, Helmar's Acid Free which I adhere all the papers, laces, chippy & photo with & Helmar's 450 Quick Dry which got my metal trinkets, resin flowers and lots of other junky finds into place and quick…… I just Love HELMAR !!
I have junk piled up that much on this LO I think i'll have to frame it – and yep Helmar will come to my rescue with that too…………
well that's it from me for today…… I think I need a swim & you need to get your HELMAR on !!
