Hi everyone, Fall is here in the States and we are just about at peak season, which means an array of colors for the eyes to feast upon. Can you tell that I love Fall? The crunch of leaves underfoot, the smell of fires burning in the stoves and beautiful, beautiful leaves to collect and look at for hours.
I have been doing a lot of eco-printing these days and I took my most recent sheet out and put it on a journal cover. Here are my supplies I needed to complete my project.
First I started with the background paper ( my eco-print) and used my Helmar Tacky Craft Glue to adhere it to the existing cover of the journal. Make sure to spread your adhesive all the way out to the edges of the paper so that it won't lift from being handled a lot. I tuck a piece of wax paper underneath so I don't have to worry about messing up my work surface.
Once that is glued on, I got out my Helmar Decoupage & Craft Paste and applied a layer on top of my paper for 2 reasons. One, the Decoupage & Craft Paste will protect it from dirt and grime.
Secondly, I wanted to add some words I cut out from a magazine and a butterfly I printed out.
Here the link to get your own free sheet of butterflies to print out.

Happy Fall ya'll!
