I had a house warming gift to give a friend. When I checked my stash of gift bags, I found a plain old boring bag, so I decided to turn the bag into part of the gift!
This is a great project for all of those scraps you have been saving! To bring it all together, I grabbed my Helmar Craft Glue!
My idea was simple – to create a house. I started with "siding" scored cardstock. To this I added a door which I embossed, windows, shutters that I made from a border punch and flowers. The roof is more cardstock folded over the handle. I used foam squares to attach one side of the roof to the other so it could be opened easily.
I was so happy with how it came out!
You could even personalize this to look like the actual house.
