Hi, I'm sharing a layout I created from last year (September School Holidays!), which was extremely wet here in Melbourne. I took Harry and his good mates for an afternoon out to the movies. I loved making this one, so easy and colourful.
Here’s what I started with
Helmar spray adhesive
Helmar Craft Glue
Helmar Fabric Glue
Grey Kaisercraft cardstock
Crate Paper Cool Kid 6×6 paper pad, stickers and ephemera
Simple Stories Say Cheese papers and stickers
American Craft’s white scrappers spool
American Craft’s remarks alpha’s
MME 6×6 paper pad
Charm’s Creations star
Amy Tan puffy stickers
Kaisercraft washi tape
Paperclip
White ink
Stapler
Jenni Bowlin Studio tickets
Cross mask
I began by using the cross mask in opposite corners of the cardstock with white ink.
Then I took some bright pieces from the 6×6 paper pad and put them in place with Helmar craft glue. Next I glued down the photo and started on the embellishments. For the ‘this way’ and ‘characters’ embellishments I used Helmar scrap dots for dimension.
I used Helmar fabric glue and a stapler on the Charm’s Creations star and the red netting (I received a lovely bunch of flowers from my daughter and the flowers were wrapped in this red netting and I knew I’d have to scrap it!)
I used Helmar craft glue on the alpha stickers too; I find that alphas love to move once they’re placed inside albums.
Here’s the finished layout, hope you like it!
