Nothing makes those cold wintry days better than a cruise off to a warmer place, right?
Well, here we are, stuck in the middle of our 2nd snow storm of the South. We have missed about 5 days of school already and more is in site, with a 3rd blast of snow coming our way. I've just decided that I had better start remembering the fun in the sun of this past Oct. I pulled out some of my fun new products to play with and wont to work!

1) Lay out your design, using your Nikki Sivils Papers, Buttons, and Breadless Tab, just as if you were putting together a puzzle. Trim edge of lined paper and lay flat. I just thought these were the cutest papers, with such vibrant coloring. I had been looking for something to match the colors of my shirt on the opening of the cruise.
2) Ink edges of paper and tag with Clearsnap ink and their special Cat's Eye inks edging tool. All you need to do is clip the ink into the snap on the tool and puch away. Ink flows onto tag or paper. For more specific instructions, check out their web site for some addtional input. Clearsnap Adapter Set Details I found it truly simple to use though and girls, it sure4 saves on the messy fingers.
3) Add your clear Zapdotfrom Helmar, right behind the crown. I also added the small square Zapdot right behind the tip of the crown to support the dimensional piece. 
I love how the clear Zapdot does not showunless I really zoom in. In person, you can't even see it. I love the clear Zapdots!
4.)Adhere paper pieces and photo with Helmar's tape runner. Ink the tag with Clearsnap's gold and add the Stampendous stickers. These velvet stickers are awesome! They easily pull away from their plastic sheet and apply just as easy. I just love the feal of velvet.
5) Lastly, build your corner dimensional piece by placing your Square Zapdots behind each of the flowers and chipboard pieces. The simply stick and lift with Helmar's Zapdots, taking less than a minute to develop your collage look. I adhered my Pink Paislee Ball Trim with Helmar's Liquid 450. It is clear and gos on in a thin stream. A little goes a long way with this super sticky wet adhesive. I love the 450 for my trimming needs.
Like I said, there is nothing like the real deal of the cruisetime escape! This took me about an hour when all was said and done. Not to long for a fu dimensional layout. But when you are stuck inside for days, a quick layout with fun bright colors will definately spur that fond memory from prettier days. I hope you enjoyed the inspiration.
