My First Noel

The first Noel, the angel did say,
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

I know, I know. It is only the beginning of November and here I've got you singing Christmas songs. That is just wrong, unless you have started making cards for the holiday season. Then it is called inspiration.

Hey there everyone, Erika Taylor here after a few weeks out of the loop with pneumonia yeah!!! I'm back on track health wise and I've got a few great Christmas cards to share with you, using the new Nikki Sivils collection Happy Holly-Days. It's chalk full of Christmas colors and…you guessed it…Holly. With it's warm patterns and added Nutcrackers, this holiday collection is the FOSHIZZLE!!! That was me trying to be hip lol

I've used a few wonderful Helmar products to bring this card together. The papers themselves are adhered together using Helmar Premium Craft Glue, a real staple for your Christmas card making. I've used Helmar Quick Fix Adhesive Runner to adhere the ribbon, and for the dimension on the Magistical Memories snowflakes, is brought to you by Heaven in a Tube (aka Liquid Scrapdots).  Here is a closer look for ya.

I added a little Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Scarlet, to the edges of the petals for that Holy Doodle factor. I think it worked. Finishing the card off with a little stickles and there you have it. My "First Noel" card this season.

And for an added bonus today, a second card using the same Nikki Sivils Happy Holly-Days collection.

Until next time

The first Noel, the angel did say,
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the the East, beyond them far;
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

And by the light of that same star,
Three wise men came from country far;
To seek for a King was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

This star drew night to the northwest,
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest;
And there it did both stop and stay,
Right over the place where Jesus lay.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

Then entered in those wise men three,
Full reverently upon their knee;
And offered there in his presence,
Their gold, and myrrh, and frankincense.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.
