I'm not a green thumb at the best of times. I tend to just kill the plant with neglect and lack of water. Funny that, because they still let me have children, lol! No, it's okay, my children fair a lot better than my plants. But I needed a plant that could survive in my new garage/storeroom. It had to be bright, sturdy, and with no need of sunlight or water. What? You mean plants like that don't exist??? ROFL! Well, they do now because I made one to match my requirements exactly. (-: Yes, you heard correctly, I did an off-the-page project (yeah, yeah, I know – I don't do OTP. Now pick yourself up off the floor and dust your self down, lol!!!). 
Today, I created a great big bunch of sparkly, bright, pretty flowers, that will brighten my storeroom, and my day, everyday. That's if I can keep them long enough – my daughter has been hinting that she wants them…sigh…I guess I'll be making some more soon. But it's easy to do – you just need a little Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. This held all my flowers and leaves together. I also used it to coat the brads then dip them in glitter for more sparkle. 
The pot base was easy to cover using felt and Helmar Acid Free Glue. It didn't leave wet marks and crinkles in the fabric – it just glided on easily, and I was able to work it into a nice smooth finish. The white rose ribbon was adhered with the Helmar Permanent Adhesive Runner (see below).
The stems were simply long thing strips of green material, with a strip of the Helmar Permanent Adhesive Runner on the opposite side. Then I simply twisted the strip of paper around a kebab stick in a spiral motion – easy peasy!
And to make sure my gemstones stayed exactly where I wanted them, I just added a little Helmar Gemstone Glue to the back of the pearl, before adhering it to the paper.
And in case you were wondering, the splatters and shine you can see on the flower petals is actually Glimmermist (Dazzling Diamonds).
