No sew sewing panel

Hello again my crafting friends

Today I have created a very bright and funky butterfly appliqués panel.

I have used a quilt die to cut out the butterfly bodies from some coordinating batik dyed materials.

I used my Big Kicks machine for the die cutting…

…to create the background I sprayed it with some bright Dylusion Sprays and then layer a large stencil over the top and blotted off.

To assemble the butterflies I first glued the wings to the bodies using the Fabric glue, what an awesome glue, works fast and securely adheres the fabrics together.

After the sprayed background was dry I was ready to add my butterflies to the panel.

I have gone around the edges of the butterflies with a black enamel paint just to help define the butterflies from the background

Finished off with 2 strips of ribbon around the edge and some pretty pink flowers with black centres.

And that is my No Sew Sewing Panel!
