Hi Helmar Fans!
We're just days away from celebrating Halloween here in the USA and like is tradition in my house, the weekend before we carve the pumpkins!! Generally, we like to look for carving patterns online and print them out to make some spooky cute pumpkins. The girls get to choose what they want and then mommy & daddy (well, mostly daddy) get to carve it! *giggle* This year, my daughter, who is VERY into Star Wars wanted Princess Leia. Well, we could NOT find a pattern anywhere, so wanting to try to please her with a Princess Leia pumpkin I thought how could we do this and then it hit me!!! We'll make the jack o lantern itself Princess Leia and this is where we enlisted the help of Helmar 450 Quick Dry!!! After carving a female face into the pumpkin, we went to the store to pick up some tiny gourds and added her buns:
Here is my hubby preparing to insert bun #1. He has come to LOVE Helmar products as well!! Have I mentioned if something has gone missing, I know the first place to look is the garage? haha
We drilled a little hole in the side and to make sure the tiny gourd wouldn't fall out, we place a glob of Helmar 450 Quick Dry inside to hold the stem. It worked beautifully and has helped up perfectly since placing the pumpkin on our porch.
Here she is all done!!! Isn't she just so cute and looks just like a pumpkin Princess Leia!!! My daughter was ecstatic – mission accomplished. Helmar to the rescue once again!! 😀
