I hope that you are having a wonderful summer enjoying some relaxing days with no schedules, no last minute school rushes, and maybe a little time to do sometime for youself. I love wandering around on roadtrips with my kiddos and planning fun activities that during the year it can be hard to do with busy sport, work, & school schedules.
When I create family activies I love to create themes or to decorate for them. Today I am making some banners for a Family Fun Night tonight. I used some of Heidi Swapp 's new Color Resist Paper for the banner. This paper is super cool when used with Heidi's Color Shine. The paper also works AWESOME will Fabercastell's products and Kuretake's Ink Art & Graphic Twin Brushes. The colors really pop. I used all three company's products on my project just because I LOVE to play and each product achieves a slightly different effect.
I then used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive to quickily glue down all of my ribbon and flowers. The glue held nicely to Heidi Swapp's resist paper and all the COLOR that I added! AWESOME!!!!
When tonights activities are over I will take these banners and I am going to use them in my mixed media journal…… A coat of Helmars acid free Decoupage and Craft Paste and they will be part of my journal for a very long time!
