Reasons to Smile

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you

When I'm gluing with my Helmar Adhesive, I can't help but smile. The way it makes a layout or project come together, the ease of using it and the array of perfect products. Hi Everyone, Erika Taylor here today sharing with you a little card I created that hopefully makes you smile too.

I received some great stamps from I Brake for Stamps and one of them was this wonderful Haida inspired mask. So I had an idea to create a more masculine card that could be used for so many different occasions. The paper smiled when I added a little Premium Craft Glue and I'm pretty sure I heard it sing just like Nat King Cole.

Then I grabbed some Zapdots that grinned ear to ear when I added some dimension to the card. The jute ribbon is placed with some love from 450 Quick Dry Adhesive .Then to finish it off, after coloring the image, I hummed a little tune with some Crackle Medium. A simple, yet stunning card for those hard to create for, masculine occasions.

You will certainly find crafting worthwhile, if you use a little Helmar and just SMILE!!!!

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile
