I'm thrilled to be back on the HELMAR Design Team for a 3rd term! I'm not quite sure what I would do without my HELMAR adhesives. YES…it is the only adhesive in my arsenal because there is a HELMAR product for every type of purpose under the sun!
Martha Richardson here to share a repurposed item for a special little girl. I've been purging my studio and found an assortment of leftover Prima flowers and trim along with this cute suitcase…it was time to make room for new so I saw this as an opportunity to brighten up Marli's, my grand niece, bedroom. Let me show you what I did and the products I used to create it.
First I gathered all my materals and my go-to Helmar adhesives…450 Quick Dry, Fabric Glue and Liquid Scrap Dots.
I first applied the Prima tulle & rhinestone trim with Helmar Fabric Glue…it dries clear and grabs fast. The 1st layer of Prima flowers I adhered with the 450 Quick Dry for extra hold. The smaller flowers I adhered with Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots because I needed to lift them above the 1st layer.
I continued embellishing the suitcase with more flowers, butterflies and bling using my trusty HELMAR.
I'm so please with the outcome and I know that everything on the top of this suitcase will stay in place because I am absolutely positive that Marli is going to love carrying this around and storing her prized possessions in it, ONLY Helmar for this job!
I have been teaching art journaling classes at a local studio where I live. Of course when it comes time to demonstrate an art journal page or a collage page the best Helmar Products for these tasks are HELMAR Acid Free Glue {for paper to paper} and HELMAR Decoupage and Craft Paste. Here are 2 pages utilizing these amazing HELMAR products.
