How is everyone loving autumn? Are you in an area that gets beautiful leaf color in celebration of cooler weather? I used to live on the Gulf Coast, and there wasn't much in the way of what you would think of as fall colors. Now that I live in Utah, I see a gorgeous display of colors as the weather is getting crisp. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for fall and the beautiful colors, even when I didn't live in an area that got to experience a leafy show. Last year, I was wandering through a hobby store, and saw a wreath form that was made up of cut sticks and I totally fell in love with it! I loved it in it's natural raw state, but knew the addition of some fall leaves and florals would kick it up ten notches!
I was in such a hurry to see how it would look, that I quickly stuck all the pretty accents into the wreath, and loved it! This year, when I pulled it out for the fall season, I was quickly reminded that nothing was actually adhered in place, as several items started falling out! Yikes! I grabbed my Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive and used it to quickly tack all the beautiful pieces in place so that this won't happen next year!
Because it's a clear adhesive, I could even use it on those glittery mesh leaf bits. They are one of my favorite additions! So delicate and pretty! Now I can enjoy my wreath without worrying about it staying exactly how I want it to look. I'm so in love with this wreath! Would it be weird to keep it hanging year round?
