Scrapbook Page made easy with Helmar

Hi Helmar Fans!

Carisa here and I stepped out of my little card making comfort zone for today's project! My kids have been getting a kick out of watching our old home movies from when they were babies, now my oldest will only be 7 in July so they are really not THAT old but as I was watching them I felt, somewhat, nostalgic….so I was inspired to dig through all the photos I had printed out from when I first wanted to scrapbook when my daughter was a baby but never got around to it and found these pictures that I loved of her when she was sleeping – so I finally did it. I scrapped a full 12×12 page!!! I'm pretty impressed with myself if I can so say. *giggle* I really had a ball putting this together. So many different elements and products all in one spot. I do think I may have fully caught the 12×12 layout bug!! Here's hoping because as I was digging, there are HUNDREDS of photos that need a happy home!

I used a host of different Helmar products to complete this page. For all my paper to paper gluing I used Helmar Craft Glue. I love knowing that this page will last and last with the staying power of this glue. Also, my layout follows our April Sketch so stay tuned as the challenge will be posting soon!!

To adhere this gorgeous metal embellishment from FabScraps I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots and just adhered the fabric yo yo right on top. I then used Helmar 450 Quick Dry to adhere the flat back button on top of that. I think this is my favorite part of the entire layout!

For the pictures, to add interest, I popped the smaller one up above the other one using Helmar Zap dots.

For this flat backed button I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots for the added dimension. I am in love with this October Afternoon paper line ( I believe it's retired now ) it was one of the first of my obsessions with paper and I'm finally ready to unhoard. LOL

To adhere the chipboard letters even though they are already self adhesive, I always use a bit of Helmar 450 Quick Dry for added glue power!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my scrapbook page!
