September is turning into a busy month for Helmar fans, we had a guest post from Susan and Martha sharing some fun ideas and a really cool sketch challenge using Scrap Dots to add dimension and height.
Have you submitted to the sketch challenge yet? It is a great sketch to play with different shapes and using Scrap Dots to raise up parts of the design makes for all kinds of fun.
A few people asked me to post more of the details of the art journal I did on the sketch challenge because they know me well enough to guess there is a few more layers of details than on show on the little picture, so here we are a bit more close up. 
Helmar’s Crackle Medium is one of my favourites for adding textural details to any surface. Using Crackle Medium on chipboard is really and creates the most interesting finish.
