Simple Note Cards made from scraps

While I have recently been sorting through my crafty supplies I've come across many things that I'm not sure whether to save or get rid of, you know, the things that just aren't really in your colours or they are simply just scraps, I thought I would use some of my scraps today and make some simple note cards.

What you will need:

Helmar Craft and Hobby PVA Glue, scissors, scraps of paper (some with white reverse side), odds and ends to decorate.

I've chosen to use some papers and decorations that were a little 'too bright' for me but will still work well with only small amounts peeking through.

Cut your papers to the preferred size, my papers were 6×6"so I just cut them in half and then trimmed one to fit inside the other using the white reverse side as the 'good' side. I also distressed the edges of the smaller piece.

Using your Helmar Craft and Hobby PVA Glue, glue the reverse side of the smaller piece of paper and adhere to the larger one, allow to dry.

Now all you have to do is apply a little glue to your chosen embellishments and decorate your note cards. I'm using some of the things I probably would have gotten rid of so it's a great way to recycle.

I hope you get to use some of your scraps in useful ways rather than just disposing of them.

Thank you so much for stopping by today 🙂
