Keeping to my music theme I decided to make it simple. By the time this goes live, my one and only nephew will turn 18. Woohooo!! He is a very bright young man who just doesn't get excited about birthdays like the women in our family! We are so excited for him and and his future. I made a card to celebrate the party the ladies of the family are all having for him, even if he doesn't wanna hang! (chuckles)

- Helmar Quickfix Adhesive Runner
- Double sided patterned paper
- Colored Digital Images by Robert Jackson
- Solid black paper
- Thickers

- Score board and stylus
- Thick Board
- Paper Trimmer
- Scissors
I took my score board and prepped my patterned paper. I scored it on all four sides at 1, 1.5, 2.5 and 3 inches. I then determined the top and bottom and scored at 3 and 8 only to the second line. I first learned how to make this shadow box years ago, but there are several tutorials on YouTube, should you need to see more explanation. Below shows how I cut out the corners and the highlighted area indicates where I am using the Quickfix Adhesive Runner
I place some of my digital images by Robert Jackson in the center of my card with a little help from Helmar's Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.
Then I started rolling up my sides of the shadow box. The Helmar Quickfix runner is perfect to hold this in place!! I also added some on the slanted corners. that overlaps the sides of the box.
Then I was so upset when I realized I had no more Helmar Zap Dots available! I improvised by using the Craft & Hobby PVA Glue and thick chipboard to add dimension to one of of my images.
Once everything inside the box was ok, I worked on the outside. Added another image, some chipboard lettering and slapped a black card on the back!!
