Hi there! It's Karen, and I am hoping you are having a relaxing day!! Do you ever feel like adding a little sparkle to your projects? Well, I sure do, and I just know you will too! So, today, I wanted to share how fast and fabulous it is to do this!
For my birthday card, I am using this sparklin' technique on white cardstock. All you need to do is grab your Helmar V2 Vellum Adesive, and in a well ventilated area, spray it on your cardstock. After spraying, go ahead and add some super fine glitter on top of the cardstock, and let it sit for a few minutes. Shake off the extra fine glitter. Instantly, you will see that the super fine glitter adheres to your cardstock! What I love is that this product is acid free & repositionable..does not have any smell, does not turn yellow, and it dries quickly and clear!! This Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive isn't just for vellum..gotta love the versatility in this product!!
In this close-up photo below, you can see on the white cardstock shapes just how much that glitter sparkles on the Helmar V2 Vellum Adhesive!! I decided to use this beautiful shaped card and flower shaped image, as I felt it really complimented sweet flowers on this gorgeous "Forget-Me-Nots" designer paper by Bella Blvd, which comes from the Plastino paper collection!!
Then, I made a front cover flower embellishment, and gave it depth by using my Helmar Zap Dots in between layers. Talk about "POP"!! Love it!! Do you see that beautiful bright pink flower on the embellishment?? Well…that comes from the Bella Blvd – Plastino Label Editions Sticker Sheet!! The pink and white buttons and tiny bow are glued on by using Helmar 450 Adhesive, so they will never fall off of this card!
Next, I layered the flower embellishment onto ribbon by using my Helmar 450 Adhesive to adhere the folds of the ribbon that run up and down the card!! Just love how quickly this dries up too and with no mess!!
Lastly, you need a sentiment to go with this sparklin' card, so I used my "Lines of Life" stamp set from myStamp Box!! This is amazing stamp set comes in the sweetest little acrylic case and has seven (7) sentiments for so many different occassions!!
